Newsletter 2005-2006 my journey from the beginning
The first few months - I launched my book at the Mind Body Soul Exhibition in Brentwood, Essex on 19/20th March 05 It went and is still going beyond my wildest dreams! I signed and sold more copies than I expected following a talk/workshop that I held where it was standing room only. The response and feedback was wonderful and has lead me on to other ventures.
I have now been asked to write a regular article in a new magazine called 'Healthy Life - Mind Body & Soul' which is a quarterly publication and distributed all over Essex.
BBC Essex - interviewed by Liz Mullen on her live radio show 'Tea at 3 with Liz' and was a wonderful experience and I could not have asked for a nicer presenter for my first live radio show.
Channel 4 TV contacted me re a programme they maybe launching in 2006 - watch this space!
My pubishers Authorhouse asked me to give a motivational talk about my experiences to new aspiring Authors which was received very well - I inspired others.
My publishers have made me their UK Featured Author and I feel very proud and honoured. Book-signings - Ottakar's book shops have been wonderful and allowed me to do book-signings at some of their stores in Chelmsford, Milton Keynes, Brentwood, Bishop Stortford, Southend, Walthamstow branches so far. More will be happening in 2006/7. I will also be doing book-signings at Waterstones book shops along with some other book stores.
I have been very honoured and asked to join the Professional Speaker's Association which I will be doing.
I gave a talk at the WOTS (Word on the Street) festival in Chelmsford, Essex on November 5th 2005. This was a faboulous event run by the local shop keepers and Essex County Council.

NHS Conference and Exhibition on November 1st in Birmingham where I signed copies of my book and ran a workshop in the morning and afternoon for the delegates.
A couple of articles are coming out shortly in national magazines and I am absolutely thrilled about these.
I have been running some very successful workshops over the last few months in Essex and London and will be continuing to do some more in the future. Please see Courses and Workshops.
I have now become a volunteer on the Advise Line for the Grandparent's Association which I am enjoying but I am shocked at what I hear sometimes. We can only listen, advise and support.
My amazing journey continues and I am loving every minute but nothing could have prepared me 2 years ago as to where I would be now. Life has a funny way of turning out and it is still continuing to go beyond my wildest dreams.
